MeineDGS - ANNIS

ANNIS Instances of the Public German Sign Language Corpus, created by at Institute of German Sign Language and Communication of the Deaf in the framework of the longterm project DGS-Corpus.

DGS-Corpus is a long-term project by the Academy of Sciences in Hamburg. Its purpose is to document and research German Sign Language (DGS). It aims to collect sign language texts from deaf people and make them partly available to the public as a corpus. Within the project duration of 19 years, the DGS German dictionary will be compiled on the basis of the corpus data. The corpus is intended to be representative of the everyday language used by deaf people throughout Germany.

The SSH Open Marketplace is maintained and will be further developed by three European Research Infrastructures - DARIAH, CLARIN and CESSDA - and their national partners.
