SADE, an acronym for «Scalable Architecture for Digital Editions», is a software application for the XML database eXist-db. It includes many components which are particularly suitable for developing and displaying a digital edition. It focuses on the presentation of XML documents that follow the guidelines of the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI).
SADE currently offers several features that help you set up a digital edition, e.g.:
- a faceted search,
- a tool for display multiple languages on the website,
- a highlight.js compatible code viewer, and many more.
The SSH Open Marketplace is maintained and will be further developed by three European Research Infrastructures - DARIAH, CLARIN and CESSDA - and their national partners. It was developed as part of the "Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud" SSHOC project, European Union's Horizon 2020 project call H2020-INFRAEOSC-04-2018, grant agreement #823782.
