Die modulare auf ca. 30 bis 50 Minuten konzipierte Lerneinheit führt mittels des GND Explorers in die Nutzung der GND ein. Es wendet sich an die Menschen, die vorwiegend wissen wollen, was Normdaten sind, wo sie sie finden und wie sie die GND in ihrer Arbeit am Museum, im Archiv oder in Forschungsprojekten nutzen können. Die Vertonung des Moduls erfolgte durch eine KI-Stimme. Das vereinfacht spätere Änderungen oder Aktualisierungen.
The modular learning unit, designed to last approximately 30 to 50 minutes, introduces users to the GND through the GND Explorer. It is aimed at individuals who primarily want to understand what authority data is, where to find it, and how to use the GND in their work at museums, archives, or research projects. The module is narrated using an AI-generated voice, allowing for easier updates and modifications.
The SSH Open Marketplace is maintained and will be further developed by three European Research Infrastructures - DARIAH, CLARIN and CESSDA - and their national partners. It was developed as part of the "Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud" SSHOC project, European Union's Horizon 2020 project call H2020-INFRAEOSC-04-2018, grant agreement #823782.
