Temporal Information Extraction on GoTriple abstracts

This workflow describes applying information extraction techniques to multilingual abstracts of GoTriple resources, to identify temporal entities - named periods from a specified authority of a specified Perio.do gazetteer (e.g. Medieval in the authority Historic England Archaeological and Cultural Periods), or year span phrases (such as "early 15th century") mentioned anywhere within the abstract text. Where possible the temporal entities are then enriched with start/end year values, thus relating the multilingual GoTriple records to a common timeline, allowing potential commonality and links with records originating from other infrastructures.
