WebLicht
WebLicht is an execution environment for automatic annotation of text corpora. Linguistic tools such as tokenizers, part of speech taggers, and parsers are encapsulated as web services, which can be combined by the user into custom processing chains. The resulting annotations can then be visualized in an appropriate way, such as in a table or tree format.
It is often the case that a tool relies on one or more annotation layers to exist in the input data before it can begin processing. WebLicht can assist the user in building a processing chain by determining which tools are able to operate on the data at any given point and offering only those tools as options to add to the chain. There are 2 modes for building tool chains: Easy Mode lets you choose pre-defined processing chains Advanced Mode allows you to build customized tool chains.
Login is required to use the tools and corpora. Login with email addresses from most recognized European universities will be automatically accepted. Individuals with a Non-European email address need to create an account with clarin.eu Developed by the German language resource infrastructure (D-SPIN) and Common language resources and technology infrastructure (CLARIN).
The SSH Open Marketplace is maintained and will be further developed by three European Research Infrastructures - DARIAH, CLARIN and CESSDA - and their national partners. It was developed as part of the "Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud" SSHOC project, European Union's Horizon 2020 project call H2020-INFRAEOSC-04-2018, grant agreement #823782.
