Biblissima Portal
The Biblissima Portal provides unique and simple access to a set of digital resources on the history of the transmission of texts produced from Antiquity to the Renaissance in the West and in the East, whatever the medium and whatever the language.
It is the entry point into the data of the Biblissima+ digital infrastructure (2021-2029), Observatory of Ancient Written Cultures, from Clay to Print (ANR-21-ESRE-0005). For more information on the project as a whole, see project.biblissima.fr.
This Portal brings together heterogeneous digital data produced by the partners of the Biblissima consortium (2012-2021) and then Biblissima+ (2021-2029). Its aim is to make interoperable heritage collections, research archives and scientific literature (original written documentation, collections of digitised sources, bibliography and research archives).
The SSH Open Marketplace is maintained and will be further developed by three European Research Infrastructures - DARIAH, CLARIN and CESSDA - and their national partners. It was developed as part of the "Social Sciences and Humanities Open Cloud" SSHOC project, European Union's Horizon 2020 project call H2020-INFRAEOSC-04-2018, grant agreement #823782.
