CLARIND-UdS

CLARIND-UdS is a repository for language resources at Saarland University. In co-operation with the partners of the Textplus consortium and the CLARIN ERIC, CLARIND-UdS promotes the eHumanities by providing a service for the hosting, processing and editing of language resources for scientific purposes. The service was developed as part of the CLARIN project. A further task of CLARIND-UdS is the training and further education of young scientists. This includes the organisation of workshops, the collection of relevant teaching materials and the development of suitable training courses in the eHumanities.

CLARIND-UdS ist ein Repositorium für Sprachressourcen an der Universität des Saarlandes. In Kooperation mit den Partnern des Textplus-Konsortiums und des CLARIN ERIC förder CLARIND-UdS die eHumanities durch Bereitstellung eines Dienstes für das Hosting und die Ver- und Bearbeitung von Sprachressourcen zu wissenschaftlichen Zwecken. Der Dienst wurde im Rahmen des CLARIN-Projekts entwickelt. Eine weitere Aufgabe CLARIND-UdS ist die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Nachwuchswissenschaftlern. Dies schließt die Organisation von Workshops, das Sammeln relevanter Lehrmaterialien und die Entwicklung geeigneter Ausbildungsgänge in den eHumanities ein.
