GermaNet kann über eine API in jeweils Python- und Java angesprochen werden. Die APIs erlauben eine erweiterte Suchkonfiguration (reguläre Ausdrücke, Bearbeitungsabstand, ausgewählte Wortarten, Wortklassen, orthografische Formen) sowie semantische Ähnlichkeitsberechnungen mit 6 unterschiedlichen Methoden.

GermaNet can be accessed via an API in Python and Java. The APIs allow for advanced search configuration (regular expressions, processing distance, selected word types, word classes, orthographic forms) as well as semantic similarity calculations using six different methods.
