DARIAH-DE and OPERAS-GER academic blogging with Hypotheses
Hypotheses is a non-commercial blog portal for the humanities and social sciences. The portal provides a free service that facilitates scientific blogging and ensures greater visibility as well as archiving of content. The German branch of Hypotheses is provided by OpenEdition in cooperation with the Max Weber Foundation. It contains contributions selected by the community management based at Max Weber Foundation. In a wider context, under the umbrella of OpenEdition hypotheses.org publishes content in a wide range of languages. It is possible to browse the platform in the most commonly used languages on Hypotheses: French, German, Spanish and English.
The German branch of Hypotheses offers:
- Technical assistance online via the bloghaus, by mail, as well as training offers.
- Visibility of the posts on the homepage as well as via the social media channels of the portal
- Archiving of content
- Migration of already existing blogs
