After revising the selection criteria of the project, the curator decides if a document is relevant for the project's collection. 

Organize the documents, clean them, remove dust and extend pages, make sure the document is ready to be digitized.

Create a master file in TIFF in high resolution according to the digitization policy of the project and if the qualitiy is good, create the access copies in JPEG and PDF. 

Identify the digital image with metadata.
